Johor<\/strong> <\/strong>Bahru,<\/strong> <\/strong>15<\/strong> <\/strong>August<\/strong> <\/strong>2025<\/strong> <\/strong>\u2013 R&F Princess Cove, in collaboration with Causeway Link, a public transport brand under Handal Indah Sdn. Bhd., has officially launched a free shuttle bus service connecting the R&F Princess Cove community and the Johor Bahru (JB) Checkpoint (CIQ). This new service offers residents, cross-border commuters, and visitors a convenient travel option, marking another milestone in the community\u2019s transportation upgrades and strengthening the integrated Singapore- Malaysia living network.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Located in the heart of Johor Bahru, R&F Princess Cove sits adjacent to the Johor\u2013 Singapore Causeway and the first CIQ checkpoint. Since 2017, residents have enjoyed direct access to the checkpoint via a 650-meter covered link bridge. The new shuttle bus service complements the existing pedestrian connection, providing an alternative, flexible, and efficient travel choice for cross-border residents, visitors, and mall-goers alike.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The free shuttle bus operates daily from 4:30 a.m. to 11:00 p.m., with each trip accommodating approximately 60 passengers. The route runs directly between R&F Princess Cove and the JB Checkpoint, with a stop at JB Sentral, facilitating easy transfers to other transportation modes. Early-morning cross-border commuters and weekend visitors can enjoy a safe, comfortable, and punctual travel experience.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

For some cross-border workers, a convenient park-and-ride option is available. Commuters can park at R&F Mall Phase 1 or R&F Marina Place before boarding the shuttle, achieving a seamless connection to the checkpoint.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The shuttle bus stops at R&F Mall in front of \u201cD\u2019 Shanghai Dim Sum,\u201d offering passengers one-stop access to dining, shopping, and entertainment. Residents and visitors can also walk to R&F Marina Place to enjoy waterfront dining, theatre performances, or yacht experiences.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Meanwhile, the 650-meter covered link bridge, temporarily disrupted during the RTS construction, has been fully reconnected and will reopen soon, enabling direct pedestrian access from R&F Princess Cove to the JB CIQ. Residents and cross-border commuters can then choose between walking or taking the shuttle bus, creating an efficient dual-mode cross-border transport network that reduces commute time and enhances travel convenience.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

R&F Princess Cove has also introduced Beam e-scooters, providing residents with a low-carbon option for \u201clast-mile\u201d travel within the community, further enriching the multi-dimensional transport ecosystem.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
